30 Days of Thanks: Day 30

 
Join us for thirty days of thanks, as we enter into God's throne room to show our gratitude for His goodness and blessings through scripture, praise and prayer.

Day 30: 

Heavenly Father,  Thank You for the precious gift of life -  physically, spiritually and eternally.  Your love is so great that You didn't want to lose me forever due to sin.

One day You sent Your Only Begotten Son to earth as a baby,  who would grow to a man and one day give His life so I might live.  He took on all sin and sicknesses on His body, dying a horrific death.

Yet Your power is so great, even death could not hold Jesus in the grave.  He rose from the dead and is alive with You, holding a place for me in Heaven.

Thank You Jesus for coming to earth with the sole purpose of bringing me back to God through salvation.  What greater love can there be?

You came to earth and gave Your life for me so that I could live a full life in abundant blessings and Daily Favor.  Help me not to merely endure life, but to fully enjoy the life Jesus died for me to have.

I love You Lord.  All thanksgiving, blessings, praise and power be to You my God.  Forever will I lift up and glorify Your Holy name!

Day 29: 

Heavenly Father,  I am very grateful to live in a country that allows the gospel message of Jesus Christ to be published and shared.  

Thank You Lord for blessing our nation, even though we have strayed from You.  I pray for the salvation of this nation and that she return to You as our ancestors did.  Continue to shine Your face on us with favor so that Your ways will be spread throughout the earth, and all nations would come to the saving knowledge of Christ.

Be gracious and bless us God, and may this nation lift up the name of Jesus, now and forever.

Day 28: 

Heavenly Father,  There are so many things I can thank You for Lord, but I especially want to give thanks for the memories You have given me.  Memories of past successes and disappointments,  for which I would not recall Your mighty works.

I am thankful for photographs that remind me of special things and people that came into my life.  Memories with family, friends, co-workers, students, church family, pets and mostly life with my beloved husband.

Photos fade, relationships change, possessions are lost, but You God, never change.  Thank You for making me memoriable in Your eyes; I love You for that.

You have placed individuals in the right place at the time of need Lord; for this I am truly grateful.  Help me to be a person who reflects Your love and compassion to others, especially those around me.

Heavenly Father,  I am so thankful for the Body of Christ and being able to worship together as a church.  Each time we gather it is an opportunity to share with one another what You have done in each of our lives.

The testimonies of Your mighty works builds my faith and gives me hope for what You want to do for Your children.  For what You have done in my life, I delight in sharing with others.

Heavenly Father,  I'm grateful that I can come to You when I'm feeling anxious and uneasy about something.  Your Holy Spirit always comforts me with Your word, reminding me that You have every situation under control.

Thank You for caring about the things that affect my life.  When the enemy tries to take my mind to places that give unrest, You guard my heart to restore peace and give me hope.

Heavenly Father,  Thank You for the message and provision that comes with the gift of salvation.  Your word teaches and gives me counsel in every area of my life helping me to make wise decisions.

I gladly sing praises to You and share the good news of Your grace.  Your word has a home in my heart, and I will teach others of the wisdom is contains.
