Can and Will America Survive?

I feel it necessary to break from our usual teaching lesson to intercede for America and those she gladly serves as a nation. 

Next week one of the most important events will take place in the election of a president of the United States.  Not since the founding of our country has there been so much controversy and a battle for freedom, mainly in religious rights. 

I’m not getting up on a soapbox here, but am using this platform being truly concerned about the future of this country and whether or not it will continue to exist in my lifetime and for generations to come.  

Those who have children and grandchildren, are you ready for your family to be taken into captivity never to see them again?  This is a reality that America could face if we don’t take action and fight for our freedom, whether you are a believer in Jesus Christ or not. 

If America continues to disobey in following its arrogant path and irreverent lifestyle against God, there will be no more saving of this nation.  This will be a battle that will not be won no matter how hard we try. 

We pray for God to intercede in “saving and blessing” us, but we do not repent of our sin.  He has no obligations to keep a promise for a people who disregard His laws, and sadly that’s the position we are in today. 

Is It Good-bye America? 

There is more at stake than gaining a political leader(s); the survival of a free America is at risk.  How would you feel if government dictates what you can or cannot have in your house?  What if you worked all your life to have your dream house and officials declared you don’t need it – it’s ours?  

What if the shelves remain empty forever, because government confiscates all food and distributes rations in exchange for your entire paycheck or livelihood?  We are close to losing everything America was based on in its forming, it’s that serious! 

If we do not elect politicians who have a heart of compassion for people and Israel, God will not allow America to survive because we would have turned our backs on a nation He loves.  

Scriptures make it clear that God will bless all who bless and support Israel, and He will absolutely destroy those who do not bless Israel or allow other Gods before Him.  What have we done or haven’t done in turning back to Jehovah God? 

“And I will bless (do good for, benefit) those who bless you (who confer prosperity or happiness upon you) and support Israel.  And I will curse (that is, subject to My wrath and judgement) the one who curses (despises, dishonors, has contempt for, uses insolent language towards) you (Israel).  

And in you all the families (nations and kindred) of earth will be blessed (and by you they will in turn bless themselves).” (Genesis 12:3 AMC emphasis mine) 

America has fallen from God’s grace and favor in permitting other religions to reign in a country that He permitted to become a powerful nation.  It is recorded that every nation that went against God has not been able to prosper and most do not exist anymore.  Those that remain are not powerful and lack the basics for daily living needs.

Are you prepared to say good-bye to the most powerful nation that God has blessed so far?  America, are you ready to be taken over and cease to exist? 

Who Is Your God? 

Whether or not you are from America, this message is for your country as well.  The Bible tells us that any nation or person whose God is Jehovah will be blessed in following after Him and His ways of righteousness. 

“Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people who He hath chosen for His own inheritance.” (Psalm 33:12 KJV) 

Right now, America needs the help of believers from around the globe to pray that this nation returns to God and seeks repentance for our sinning against Him in lewd lifestyles, killing of innocent babies and following after false gods (religions).  

If America ceases to be free, we will no longer be able to give aid or assistance to other countries in a time of need.  This will affect and effect every nation that relies on America for food, medical or financial help and human rights action. 


Your Vote Matters 

Do you want to see America taken over and no longer be a free nation?  We have come to take this privilege and liberty for granted. 

On Tuesday, November 3rd Americans will cast their ballots for a leader.  Will it be one who wants this nation to continue and is willing to fight for its survival?  

Will it be someone who is willing for all Americans to become slaves, reverting everything Abraham Lincoln stood and died for to come to nothing (concerning freedom and those who followed in his footsteps)? 

With what is happening globally it is vital that Americans get to the polls and vote to save our country.  Statistics show that only one Christian in four vote and we wonder why we are not seen as powerful people in the sight of man. 

I entreat citizens of America, in the name of Jesus and all that liberty stands for, don’t let this nation be handed over to the devil and his cohorts.  The enemy wants America to fall to prevent the true message of freedom from death and destruction from being told. 

America can do more than survive, it can once again thrive!  So, the real question isn’t can she, but will she survive?   You ... voter ... have a say in this!

This is not a political issue, but a spiritual problem.  You are not voting for a person, but for the person(s) who will fight for your religious freedom and basic rights of life.

Please be in fervent prayer and go vote!  Your vote really does matter, because YOU matter!  In fact, it is vital you use your citizen’s right and privilege to vote! 

Ask the Lord to guide your thoughts and hand in voting for those who have compassion for each individual, will increase security against terrorism, open more opportunity for jobs and pray for the future of her people in the nation we love called America.  

Most of all, pray that America votes for those who will uphold religious freedom and the rights to serve God without harm or restriction.  Remember, you are not only voting for individuals, you are voting for the future freedom of your family. 

Vote for life, liberty to share the message of happiness and real freedom that can only be found through Christ Jesus.  

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator (Jehovah God) with certain unalienable rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

Strength to Finish the Vision: Part 1

“Dear Lord, I haven’t been a really good sheep today, let alone a shepherd.  I’m tired, feeling a bit out of my league in knowing what to do.  I need your help.  Strengthen my hands for this task; give me wisdom so I cause no harm …” 

That’s the prayer I spoke first thing one morning as I tried dragging myself out of bed after a little sleep.  How can I do all that has to be done, with so many things being #1 on the list?  

Will I ever accomplish the vision that is in my heart when it keeps being lost in the daily grind of life?

Living off Prayer 

I’m pretty sure a prayer similar to mine has come out of the mouths of many people, especially this year.  Have you said something along those lines over the past months in dealing with frustrating changes and uncertainty in life? 

Just when things were starting to calm down something unexpected happened.  For the past two months we’ve been dealing with a virus epidemic among the pet population in the community that’s similar to COVID-19, but it’s not.  It’s been round the clock care in syringe feeding, IV and medication treatments with not enough hands to meet the needs of all the animals. 

As soon as it looked like an animal was getting better, the cycle repeated itself and spread to other pets.  We’ve never dealt with so many seriously sick animals at one time who needed such intensive care. 

It didn’t take much to recognize that this is the work of the enemy and was pushing us to the limits of our knowledge and abilities.  My early morning prayer was a plea for literal physical and emotional strength, not just to care for animals, but carry on with the vision in my heart and manage regular living (which seemed impossible at the time).  

Ministering medically to domestic or untamed animals can be exhausting. However, when it comes to cats … they’re in a category all by themselves and I think they know it!  They instantly turn into an octopus and you almost need full body armor to handle them.  I’ve been pounced, kicked, scratched, punched, bitten and knocked down, but not beaten!  

Parts of me may look like I was in a battle with an abnormal amount of scratches or bruises, but glory to God I’m getting a good upper body workout!  Plus, I’ve gotten pretty quick on my feet in chasing critters that escape off the examination table or IV cart!  

There’s no other way to put it than to say, we’d been living off prayer – ours and from others as spiritual food to build us up to keep going.  It wasn’t solely because of the strange unidentified spreading virus, but all the other things everyone needed to do in their daily lives that warranted just as much attention. 

The Weapon of Fervent Prayer 

Our faith was stretched and tested through this new learning experience with me stepping out to do things I’ve never done totally on my own before like syringe feed.  In the past I’ve always been the second set of hands that held an animal during feeding, cleaned or bathed them, prepared the special diets … you get the idea.  This time I was the one who needed the extra set of helping hands. 

If it wasn’t for the weapon of fervent prayer against the enemy, we wouldn’t have a prayer of winning, yet we did!  God gave insight to new methods and treatments so that everything that needed to be accomplished was.  In the end, more tears and prayers of thanksgiving filled the heavens than prayers of petition. 

Animals that were not supposed to make it did, surprising the doubters with how they literally came back to life!  Things got done for everyone, and I can’t really figure out when they did, but I certainly know how – through prayer!  God was faithful in answering prayers that had much more than finding solutions in caring for dozens of furry critters. 

“A righteous, godly man (person) regards (cares for and tends to) the life of his animal, but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.” (Proverbs 12:10 NKJV) 

Throughout the weeks I noticed favor came into individual lives because of the care given in honoring God’s creation of animals.  It wasn’t what anyone planned, but we changed our plans when God allowed the situation to come into our lives.  He used the circumstance to bring people together that wouldn’t have ordinarily even known one another, in order to open doors for other areas in our lives.  That is so, so cool! 

Keep Going Anyway 

Has the devil interfered with the plans God has placed on your heart to pursue?  If so, I’d like to give you a word of encouragement to keep going no matter what is trying to come against accomplishing your vision. 

When you are praying for God to help in following your dreams, the enemy is going to do everything he can to stop it from coming to pass.  I once heard a prominent pastor say that every goal he has achieved over the years of his ministry, came with a battle and a huge fight with the enemy.  He also said that just when he felt he would give up God prevented the schemes of the devil from prevailing over his work and efforts.  His part was to keep going and not quit. 

The devil isn’t about to give up on his plans to steal, kill and destroy anyone who has a desire to follow after God.  He will do whatever it takes to get you to quit and walk away from living out your dreams and vision.  I’m encouraging you to stay in faith, believe what God put in your heart and keep going anyway – especially when things look impossible! 

God knows that there will be obstacles along the way to prevent us from achieving our vision, and that’s why we need to consult Him in moving forward to accomplish everything that He has for us.  He is the One who inspires the dreams of His children and has promised to help throughout the entire process of what He placed on your heart.  

The Lord wants to help, but cannot do that if we don’t include Him on a regular basis.  I know things may seem impossible right now, but with God all things are possible to those who believe.  

Sometimes living the Christian life can be hard and we’re not always at our spiritual best. God knows and understands our weaknesses.  He wants us to lean on Him when we’re not strong.  He will be our strength and friend to help us carry on, not humans as mentioned in the song written by the late singer Bill Withers.  Nice concept, but only the Holy Spirit can give us everything we need, every time.

It’s during our weakest moments that God’s power is revealed through His unmerited favor and grace. 

“But He said to me, My grace (My favor and loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for you (all you need; sufficient against any danger and enables you to bear the trouble manfully); for My strength and power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) and show themselves most effective in (your) weakness. 

Therefore, I will all the more gladly glory in my weaknesses and infirmities, that the strength and power of Christ (the Messiah) may rest (yes, may pitch a tent over and dwell) upon me!” (2 Corinthians 12:9-10 AMPC) 

Use the weapon of prayer against the enemy to continually live by faith.  Ask the Lord for the strength you need to keep going and finish the vision.  Hang in there.  Live with the peace of mind that your vision will come to pass in His timing, and it will be better than you could ever imagine.   

“The LORD will give strength to His people; the LORD will bless His people with peace.” (Psalm 29:11 NKJV)

Favor for Praying in Agreement

Hello everyone and welcome to Daily Favor Blog - the place where faith and favor definitely meet!

Doing my best to keep you informed ... many of you who follow Daily Favor know that I have been working diligently on this year’s vision theme (under the direction of the Holy Spirit) to “Finish What You Start”.   You can read that teaching here.

So, for the past few months this is what I’ve been focusing on and partly why I haven’t been able to post as often as I like. 

To be honest, I simply can’t do two things at once on the computer.  I had to follow my heart in being obedient to the Lord, which meant moving forward on several projects (all of which you will be a part of in some way). 

Although there have been plenty of mountains to move and challenges to overcome, it pleases me to report that we have been fruitful.  I am in the final stages of pre-publication of my newest book, which Lord willing, is to be out very soon!!! 

Would you please keep this book project and me in your prayers as we make decisions for publication?  As scriptures have recorded:

“I appeal and urge believers (brothers and sisters in Christ) through our Lord Jesus and through the love of the Holy Spirit, to join (strive) together sincerely with me in your prayers to God in my behalf.” (from Romans 15:30)

Agree with us and pray for … 

Favor, wisdom, creativity, integrity, provision and fruitfulness that people will catch the vision in spreading the gospel message with power and might to transform lives. 

Jesus encourages us to take advantage of our Christian rights to pray in agreement with one another in Matthew 18:19, and that’s exactly what I’m asking you to do.  Can you do that? 

“…  I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in Heaven.  For where two or three are gathered in my name, there I am among them.” (Matthew 18:19-20 ESV) 

Read Finish What You Started

You and I must stand firm in finishing what God has placed on our hearts.  Stop putting limitations on the Word of God and power of the Holy Spirit in manifesting the vision.  

What God starts He finishes, and He will grant favor through those who abide in Him, remaining faithfully obedient in pursuit of achieving the goal.

“If you abide in Me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.” (John 15:7 ESV) 

Stay in faith and believe that God isn’t done with what He has placed in your heart.  He wants you to get back on track and keep moving forward in your dreams.  

Believe that He will answer your prayers in His timing and when favor is to be given on your project.  Here is a list of scriptures to help stay focused on your goals.  Finish What You Start Scriptures

Let us stand in agreement with you by sharing your requests in the comment section below. 

“And if we know (believe) that He (God) hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of Him. (based on our faith and belief in Him to keep His word.)” (1 John 5:15 ESV emphasis mine) 

“Commit your work to the LORD, and then your plans will succeed (with My blessings and favor).” (Proverbs 16:3 emphasis mine) 

In advance I thank you for agreeing to pray over the projects here at Daily Favor, as we make our requests known unto the Lord for them to be manifested for His glory in reaching the lost and making disciples through teaching the Word of God. 

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.” (Philippians 4:6 ESV)
