30 Days of Thanks: Day 26

 
Join us for thirty days of thanks, as we enter into God's throne room to show our gratitude for His goodness and blessings through scripture, praise and prayer.

Day 26: 

Heavenly Father,  I am so thankful for the Body of Christ and being able to worship together as a church.  Each time we gather it is an opportunity to share with one another what You have done in each of our lives.

The testimonies of Your mighty works builds my faith and gives me hope for what You want to do for Your children.  For what You have done in my life, I delight in sharing with others.

Day 23: 

Heavenly Father,  There are so many things to give thanks for how can I possible count them?

Thank You for the many blessings throughout my entire life. The countless times You have kept me safe from harm, over and over You have healed my body, mind and soul from destruction renewing my youth like an eagle.

You crown me with love like none other.   Endless forgiveness from Your throne of mercy is extended through the gift of salvation, even though undeserved.

A bountiful table of grace, mercy and favor is set before me feeding my spirit, soul and body with good things from Your heavenly blessings.  Forever I will praise and bless the Lord.

Heavenly Father,  I don't know why You wanted someone like me, but I am glad You did.  You knew that I would mess up time after time, yet You still created me for Your very own.

Thank You for not giving up on me.  Keep me on Your potters wheel; continue working until I become the masterpiece You desire for doing the things You planned for me from the beginning of time.

Day 19: 

Heavenly Father,  I am so thankful for those who openly shared the gospel message of salvation with me and what it means to become a child of the Living God.

You said that whoever believes in Jesus would receive a place in Heaven with you.  I do believe that Jesus is Your Only Begotten Son who suffered and died for me on a cross.   He rose from the grave and is now seated at Your right hand side in Heaven.

Thank You for forgiving all my sins.  You have cleansed my iniquity, setting me free from the past, making me a new person.  You have given me the hope of eternal life through Jesus Christ, for which I will be eternally grateful.

Day 18: 

Heavenly Father,  It's easy to give thanks and praise to You my God.  I lift my heart, hands and voice to praise You.

Everywhere I look I see the work of Your hands; the beauty and passion in all You have created.  When I see the clouds, I know You are near.  When I see the sun, moon and stars, I know You are there.

When I see the trees, flowers and earth I know You thought of me. When there is a gentle breeze I feel Your arms embrace reminding me You are present wherever I am.

When I walk among a crowd, I see how Your love is limitless.

Thank You Lord for Your wondrous works that magnify who You are.

Heavenly Father,  I submit to You in making the right decisions for myself and family.  All my hope and expectations are in You to guide me in the right direction.

You are my Rock and Shield; a very help in times of trouble.  When I call out You give me strength not to make the wrong move, believing it is the right one.  I lean on You having full confidence that You will lead me to a place of rest and safety.

Heavenly Father,  Right now I'm going through some really difficult times and keep coming to You  for answers.  Although I cannot see what may happen, I am so thankful that Your word gives me hope.

I know that by faith I will see victory through Jesus and the power of Your Holy Spirit.  In advance I praise You that I will not be defeated and trust I will see the goodness of the Lord.
