Whoever Finds A Wife

I know that the trendy thing today doesn't seem to be marriage, but have you considered this?

According to scriptures, finding a godly wife will cause favor to be in your marriage!  So men, if you don't have one, keep looking!  If you are married, have you regarded it as a blessing and treat it as such?

God said that "whoever" finds a wife obtains His favor.  That means somewhere along the line there is favor to be given and received from the Lord, because He deems marriage as a good thing!

Ladies, do people think of youself as godly or a blessing to others?  Are you a gift from God and a treasure?  If not, what will you do to change so that the favor of God will be present in your home?

The Ways of A Mother

“She opens her mouth with wisdom,

And on her tongue is the law of kindness.”

(Proverbs 31:26 NKJV)

There are many stories I could share about my mother and the things that embarrassed me as a child. I'm sure most kids have some of the same tales if the truth be known.

However, my outlook changed as I grew into adulthood.  I came to appreciate the wisdom, kindness and ways of my mother.  In giving her honor, I'd like to direct you to an article I wrote several years ago which reveals why I chose this verse in Proverbs for Mother's Day.
