Forever Thankful

 

Heavenly Father,

On this Thanksgiving Day, we offer this prayer with a grateful heart.

We thank You for Your provision, promises and protection for which we are forever blessed.  

We thank You for our family, friends and Your unending favor.

We thank You mostly for Your Son, Jesus Christ and the precious mercy gift of salvation.

In Jesus' name, Amen,

With a grateul heart we give thanks for you, our faithful followers.

Giving Thanks to God

 

Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; 

give thanks to Him and praise His name.

For the LORD is good and His love endures forever; 

His faithfulness continues through all generations."

Day 8: 

Heavenly Father,  I have been through so many trials, set backs, and disappointments.  At times the challenges seem overwhelming, yet You have always been by my side. 

You continually shield and give me strength to go on when I feel helpless, trusting You will make a way.  With all my heart I give thanks and joyfully sing praises to You.

Heavenly Father,  There have been so many people in my life that have come and gone.  They spoke of their love, yet it did not last.  

I am ever so thankful that You are not like that Lord.  You have always been faithful as Your Word proclaims. 

You are good and the love You have for me lasts forever!  Help me receive this love in my heart and not just in my head.

Heavenly Father,  Although it may not always be easy for me to understand or see, I am grateful Your grace (unmerited favor) continues to increase so I may be a blessing to others that You may be glorified.  

Lord, Oh that You would always be glorified through me!  Pour out Your divine grace and spiritual (as well as material) blessings, so that others may also see Your goodness and be thankful.

Heavenly Father, There is nothing more I love doing than serving and praising You.  No amount of praise, acts of gratitude or words of thanksgiving can compare to the gift of Heaven through salvation.  

Receiving me into Your Kingdom that will never be shaken, destroyed or removed is a reward that compels me to worship You.  Lord, I pray my worship in word or deed pleases You in every way!
